I'm also an avid sailor having successfully sailed my sailboat from the Netherlands to Greece covering the entire coastal area of Europe. Throughout my sailing journey I have developed extensive knowledge of proper electrical systems on board, essential for navigating challenging situations during my voyages. As a sailor who has faced various weather conditions and mechanical issues at sea, it is crucial to maintain reliable power sources and efficient systems onboard.

This experience led me to create Boat Buddy, a free and open-source application designed as a digital logbook. The app offers sailors and boat owners valuable insights into their vessel's performance, anchor notifications, and keeping tracks of onboard systems while away from the boat. It enables users to track fuel consumption, monitor engine hours, and maintain detailed logs of repairs and modifications. BoatBuddy has become a trusted resource for the sailing community, providing a comprehensive platform for managing all aspects of boating life. As both an experienced sailor and developer of this innovative application, I am proud to contribute to the advancement of modern maritime technology and assist fellow sailors in their journeys across the seas.
